For requirements in the licensed spectra of 6 GHz, 11 GHz, 18 GHz and 23 GHz and for Ethernet bandwidth needs of 50 Mbps to 800 Mbps, Sun utilizes radios from Ceragon and Stratex. These are traditional line-of-sight (LOS) systems. In those situations where LOS can not be obtained, we employ the Motorola (Orthogon) units that are able to provide maximized throughputs of 22 Mbps to 310 Mbps and are capable of circumventing obstacles and overcoming reflected path. For shorter distances (last mile connectivity) requiring GigE speeds, we incorporate the BridgeWave 60 GHz and 80 GHz systems which deliver true gigabit Ethernet full duplex line speed.
